I can see that four-year-old. (K)
This poem is from my own memories. I attended a birthday party at this age and the entertainment was running through the sprinkler in our bathing suits out in the yard. I loved it, I clearly remember it, and we have a photo of the party with the kids lined up. I’m sopping wet head to toe and the rest of them are totally dry, since none of them would try it.
I have photos of me and my brothers with the hose and our little inflatable pool. Sopping wet also and loving it. Those were the days!
