vocation : a summons or strong inclination to a particular state or course of action
the bird’s call
before the sunrise
In the dark
I heard it
and answered: my vocation
set in that moment
shadorma 407 : 6/7/22
quibble : to evade the point of an argument by caviling about words…BICKER
In a dark scribble
pick-a-fight late-night quibble
the moon flies a verb
into the fractious cloud-slurred
ears of a jealous sybil
tanka 307 : 6/22/22
volition : the power of choosing or determining : WILL
like a sleepwalker
stumbling down a broad dark hall
her story advanced
not of its own volition
but with dangerous results
tanka 349 : 10/23/22

Quibble is a great word. (K)
You know, I have liked all qu words since we had neighbors named Quinn when I was really young and learning to read, I found the whole sound/look of the letters intriguing for some reason and ever since I have liked qu words. And quibble is great with its double b and then the l sound, it seems just as fussy as the thing it means.
The Qu I’ve always liked because it’s paired. The sound of a word can definitely enhance the meaning.
