Uneven
I cast my eyes on her
Waiting.
It has all turned cold.
I don’t know why.
Vertigo.
It’s where I feel most myself
These days.

There is a disquieting mood to this poem. There is a sense that something sinister has just happened or may be about to happen.
Yes, I don’t know what, but it does express how I was feeling at the time, that vague sense of bad things coming…which I do not pay attention to since I often have feelings not associated with a reason. Still, I feel them, and it helps me to express them.
