Haiku 1228, 1229, 1231, 1232

I wrote these haiku as part of my recent visit to the Upper Perkiomen Valley Library in Red Hill, PA. I used book titles chosen at random from the shelves and went on from there.

Look here if you want more details on my visit to this library.

1228.
Spite and bad advice
In the warmth of a new sun
My heart’s not in it
1/7/23

1229.
Crooked morning star
Sprawled sideways in the pale sky
Old soul’s passenger
1/7/23

1231.
Something in the blood
A glimmer of gone for good
rides a wicked road
1/7/23

1232.
midnight at the store
the mannequins drink coffee
try the new lipsticks
1/7/23
