How interesting that all three snippets are about the interaction and juxtaposition of light and dark, literal and metaphorical, and that you are sharing these poems just as we have made it past the winter solstice.
Sometimes it is really mysterious to me how the snippets, I just put the pieces together, and I think they mean just something simple or on the surface; and then with reflection, or with the insight of others, such as you provide, there is more to them. I just don’t know how that happens but I am glad it does, and that they can do this.
