In a Lost World
Cutting roses
The lady in the pink dress
Frowns
But why?
One by one
the blooms fall to the ground.
Silence. Moods.

Very mysterious.
Sometimes I think in my world there are lots of questions, and no answers, or else too many answers, which I admit to thinking that is an ideal world. Lots of mystery.
I think it’s true of the world in general, but most people do not acknowledge it!
Morticia’s pastel sister? She is very much like her but tries to fit in in a pink dress – but her actions betray her intent.
I love the characterization as Morticia’s pastel sister. Just as macabre but in a different way…
I love the above reader’s suggestion that this depicts Morticia’s pastel sister!
This character brought to mind the Scottish phrase “a nippy sweetie”, someone who outwardly seems warm and charming but who is abrasive beneath that facade.
I think you could draw Morticia’s pastel sister, it seems just your style. With the roses from the poem, I can just imagine it. And I love the phrase nippy sweetie, it is perfect for its meaning, plus so fun to say.
I am going to squirrel that idea away!
