False Teeth
Tell that supposed well-meaning
old mouth crammed with pointed teeth
that
serrated kind remarks never
exactly Smooth things over
but instead
they saw through good intentions
they leave score marks
Tell that old mouth
I have a fine set of pointed teeth

Ooooft! I have met many the person whose words are vicious, sharp, cutting. The metaphor of the teeth is perfect.
