There is a connecting theme of dispiriting circumstances in each of these haiku. I, therefore, really like the encouraging element of hoping to dream.
Sometimes I feel (often I feel) that everyday life is just, as you say, dispiriting. And then a tiny flash of hope flickers, could be a dream or an imagining or maybe someone just says something kind. Somehow we keep on going.

Yes. And sometimes it takes time to dawn on you, doesn’t it, and the disappointment is even worse then.
