I like that both poems are about sounds that communicate the passage of time, one natural and one man-made.
Thank you. Yes, I think we are often unaware of how much sound there is and so many rhythms all going along at once. (I like that idea, keeping time in different ways, but all of them audible).
#350 really resonates with me as recently the alarm clock has been a real task master!
Yes, I know what you mean. The same here. Even though I don’t go to an office or to school, September always seems to be when the schedule gets hold of me again.
