When I first read 372, I read it as not knowing what day it is. I think it works that way too. That’s me in a nutshell. (K)
Yes. I like it that you saw that. It’s given me another thought path to follow. And I marvel once again at the power of words to bring meaning, and meanings!
They do! A continual pleasure.
All three of these poems strike me as being about exhaustion – physical, mental, and emotional. I like the way even the staccato structure supports the idea of fatigue. As someone who is really running on fumes right now, I find these poems very relatable.
Yes. I like that characterization. There are so many ways that life can drain us all right.
