I Don’t Need a Stylist to Tell Me
I do not need to hear that kind of talk
when I am already dealing with being
wedged inside these ill-fitting pants
way too tight in the waist
though all that talk is true
though it is certainly something I need to be told

Thank you. That makes me feel good that my words can make a connection, I always hope for that. As for perfection, as I get older now, I see how often I squeezed myself into situations because I thought it should fit. Not because it did. Time is teaching me.
