   • Yes. Identity. What is it? The better question may be, what isn’t it?

2. I think hair is an important component of many people’s identity. It used to be a more important part of mine but then my hair went awry and I decided to somewhat divorce my hair.

   • I laugh, “divorce my hair”! I love it! I must say I’ve more been along the lines of, ignore my hair. It has to manage itself on its own. I guess cutting it to about 1 inch in length has helped it stay focused on neatness, which is what I value about my hair.

     • If I had a nicely shaped head – rather than the lumpy potato head I was blessed with – I would be tempted to crop my hair short.
