The soft hollow knock.
The unseen whose mark it is.
The branch that betrays
no hint. The tree standing mute
in rain. The bird that flies out.

Hehe! The imagination runs wild!
I don’t know what happens next but it’s going to be spooky!
I enjoy observing the interaction between birds and trees. This poem makes me think that a woodpecker came knocking on a tree where another bird was nesting in a hollow and it came out to answer the “door”.
And what happens next?! Hmmmm….you know how it goes When you answer the door in situations like this.
