Too big

These are all great. #261 is very poignant. I imagine an abandoned home reflecting on its final farewells. #262 speaks to something I recognized about myself a few years ago: I am no longer a city person. I have no desire to ever live in a city again even though I once loved doing so.
I’ve seen quite a few abandined homes in my time, of course, and I think every one of them is feeling sad at what it has come to, no matter how it happened. And I never lived in the city, and I never wanted to. Even thinking about it – no. I would certainly close the book. But living near a big city? Always.
Strangers at the table one is my favorite!
You can see I read a lot of crime fiction.
