Voices
Hey you dropped something
the workman yells to his pal
slaps his arm. Laughter
raucous honks compete
with clank clatter and reverb
of metal shelving
dead and dismembered
thrown down on the dark carpet
then the cart arrives
hoarse screeching-wheel voice
never will sneak up on you
will she? Load her up
rattle flex rattle
metal strips and belly laugh
a sociable mix

You really capture the cacophony of this scene.
Thank you. I love the sounds of a construction site and I don’t know why. The same thing with a busy kitchen, or office, even. I just like the layers of spontaneous interaction of activities and sounds, I guess.
