I’m not sure how much time I will have for poetry work this week so I thought I’d get these little guys lined up for today. I like to keep a trickle of current work coming out each week, and who knows, maybe I’ll have more later if time permits.
I worked on these snippets over the last week or so. I sorted through my cut-out print phrases and words while sitting on the sofa watching TV and let them form themselves, almost.

379, definitely something to chew on there.👏👏👏
Thank you. I have always thought that days had shapes. Angular is one that is posing challenges.
These are all terrific. The final one makes me think of that sense of a day getting away from you, that the shape of the day you intended has morphed into something you can no longer deal with.
Thank you. Yes, I think days have shapes and angular ones have challenges, like driving in a dense neighborhood with lots of streets. The way you describe it is perfect, something pulled on the grid and moved it out of shape. Badly.
I just love the snippet art and your poetry is always sublime!
Thank you. The Snippets do have their own thoughts, I often think, and it’s up to me to listen!
