The dull sky
convalescent from
yesterday’s drama
A thunderstorm
tired out and hung over
sitting at the kitchen table
rubbing a hand
over swollen eyes
and yawning

Great use of pathetic fallacy. I definitely related to that fatigued state, dragging my sorry carcass through the day.
