I like this take on the snap judgments we all make about people – even when we don’t intend to and try to avoid doing so. So often we focus on the negative hasty evaluations we make of people but I like that this poem is about finding a pleasant commonality with a stranger.
Yes, we do focus on the irritations so often and the nice moments slip past us. It seems to be the human way. If that could be changed…
