Snow Fall Morning
A dull sky
so deep
it is flat.
Sky and snowflakes
infinite layers of gray and snow
arrive one after another
smooth
inexorable
fall
on the ground
becoming
endless reams of weightless paper stacking up
in unending rows of columns rising
constructing the form from what was just the idea
seconds ago
Snow
fall

Beautiful poem. You’ve captured that muffled feeling of layers of snow perfectly.
I do like snow. There is a sense of the otherworldly about it that I love. That everyday life is somehow altered, just for a little while.
Happy New Year to you and your husband!
Thank you. And the same to you. May we find health and peace in this year, that is what I hope for.
