Gym View
Not one iota of unfitness
anywhere on that body
every muscle toned up and posing
quite a crowd of them competing for attention
the very apex of good-looking in-shape
arms legs abs even the muscles of his hands
are something else. What an impressive sight
well worth spending plenty of time taking it in
I only wish I had double vision.

This makes me think of all those vintage photos of bodybuilders working out on Venice Beach.
Thank you. I can see it perfectly! The poem was inspired by the first gym I belonged to, the way the floor was laid out the lots of very fit people lifting weights were in the middle with a mezzanine around the top for us people working out on the treadmills or ellipiticals. There was always quite a show being put on!
Oh yes I remember when I belonged for a short while to a national fitness chain!
I have belonged to a couple of gyms for about 15 years (stopped because of the pandemic) and there is a lot going on there, oh yes!
