Thank you, this poem was written in the past, so it’s not expressing current feelings specific to anything, though…seems to me lately I have been reflecting on lots of things (perspective changes galore these days, right?) and fragments of memory, or small sights, suddenly take me back or hit me in ways they would not have before. This is a good thing, but…thank goodness it’s not someting like so many others have these days.
I can really see this scene and feel these feelings.

Yes. Sometimes the sight of an object evokes emotions and you don’t always even know why, or at least that happens to me.
