Shadorma 237
Bananas
lounging counter-top
a tight bunch
soon to go
their separate ways. Relish
these bright yellow days.

Haiku 737
dull dented pot lid
rings out a flat note duet
with its partner pan

Haiku 738
the earth’s dark surface
before the magma heats up
a shining flat glass

That shadorma made me laugh.
Thank you. I’ve always thought bananas looked both congenial and lazy so this poem is my portrait of them!
I think you’re right! 😀
This is a diverse selection and I like them all. There is something very magical about that last one.
I’ve always liked obsidian and the process by which it occurs is magical to me, I think in this little haiku I am thinking of how a past eruption looks permanent, but – the new one is coming. I feel anticipation for the results. !!!
