Here is another of those two-sentence stories with poetry added. I’m thinking of them as “Minuscule” and quick to read.
Read the first Minuscule, the explanation of why I wrote it and got started on this idea, and search under the category Minuscule for others in the series.
And now – all the Minuscule stories have been made into a print book – each story with a pen and ink illustration. Click to see Minuscule on Amazon.
Rebuffed
Yeah, potential investor and all that, but his business intentions and his personal insinuations and the whole idea of him even breathing the same air as I did made my stomach turn and my mind work even better than it usually did – I have no false modesty and no need to beat around that bush – so I leaned just a little closer, watching as he anticipated acquiescence, and said: I have no interest in being part of your collection, so mention a word of it again and I’ll cut your tongue out, put it in a jar, and add it to my collection. Am I making myself clear?
Certainty
I slap it in the face.
Big-headed
and loud-mouthed
know-it-all-ism – I add
a two-fist surcharge.

We’ve all met people like him–too bad they’re not told off more often.
I agree, usually there is too high a cost for doing it – but as I get older I find less and less that I care. Although avoidance is my first strategy!
Hell yea
Thank you! !!!
